This weekend was bittersweet for me. The last of my corn was ready to pick and has been consumed. The stalks are ready to come down to make room for some fall crops. Looking forward to planting more next year!

Here's one of the ears, all were Peaches and Cream:

Well done Fiz.  Excellent corn and I really like the peaches and cream variety.

Thanks guys! I took the stalks down today. Procrastinating pulling up the roots. 4 stalks in one square foot, it's gonna be a tangled mess lol.

Noticed my bush tomato plant was using one as a support and now seems a bit wobbly, lol. Also noticed what looks like powdery mildew (or something similar?) on the tomato leaves on the side where the corn stalk was. Didn't notice since they were crammed together.

Fiz, If you have cut them down to just a handle to pull them out, wait a few days and they should come out fairly easy.

That's exactly how I cut them down, thanks Sanderson! I'll be pulling them up this weekend.
