We're looking at nothing but 104 and up to 111 for the next forever. Who knows if anything will survive -- including me when I have to go out and water. Today I picked a small cucumber, a small tomato, and a tiny onion "bulb" and called it Success! Rolling Eyes

My harvest for today! The first zucchini and cherry tomatoes for my season! Also some baby carrots. The tomatoes were supposed to be sunsugar... Which is supposed to by orange... I wonder if the greenhouse mislabeled the plant as it is pretty clearly a red cherry tomato plant!

Haha, yes indeed! It was quite delicious. Very Happy And thanks everyone for the kudos and kind words! Love seeing and hearing about everyone's hauls, big or small!

Today I finally decided to pick a couple of corn cobs. They were picked a bit later than they should have been but now I know for the next batch! Second pic is after grilling them.

Nice harvest, Rob!  Funny that you say that, how I got turned on to Sungold cherries was a mislabeled mater from the nursery!  I wanted Sweet Million, and ended up with an orange cherry???!!!! WOW!  Never went back!

Yet more tomatoes! While I do wish my harvest were a bit more varied...I'm not complaining. I can eat tomatoes til they come out of my ears. An over abundance of tomatoes makes me a happy gal. And my friends have enjoyed the bounty too. Our tomato season here is so short, I feel I really have to take advantage of it, and eat tomatoes morning, noon and night. hungry We're halfway through September already, and I know this won't last much longer. I'm missing them already.

That makes me sad too! How about cherry tomatoes? They seem really indestructible. I'd be happy to send you some seeds. Mine have been FULL of little beauties all summer. I find it hard to imagine they wouldn't survive for you. They might not be great for sandwiches, but in salads they're delish. Let me know. Very Happy

Thanks for the offer, but I have lots of seeds. Thanks for the reminder, too. I should plant cherry tomato seeds now for inside this winter. I have had some luck with that in the past.

My harvest is for this year and next year. I picked a mess of asparagus beans to cook (gone already Rolling Eyes) and these to plant next year, with more coming.

I am chomping at the bit to harvest the Canada Crookneck Squash but so far I have restrained myself. Just wondering if the one in the front in the first photo (and in the back in the second photo) is ready for the taking. Sanderson, what do you think?.

Harvested a mystery yellow squash (all my vine crops are intermingled -- no way to trace back to their base Rolling Eyes). Chopping it up with asparagus beans for a nice veggie medley. Cool

Today's harvest ... a few Golden Wax Beans, one Slicing Cucumber, one Everbearing Rasberry (the quarter for size comparison).  Not shown but harvested earlier in the day was a Golden Zucchini and a Roma Tomato. Eaten today was a yummy True Black Brandywine Tomato.

Today's evening harvest consists of golden wax beans, sweet million tomatoes, strawberries and cucamelons from the ANSFG. Also I have ground cherries from the regular soil garden.
