Lesson Learned

Post  Fiz on 7/14/2017, 8:13 pm

In the last couple of weeks, my two staked container determinate tomato plants have fallen over, not once, but twice...each! The pots are too light and the plants too top heavy and loaded with green fruit. I have them leaning against the wall now. Hope that doesn't negatively affect them!

If against the wall - are they getting enough sunlight?  That would be my only concern, assuming that no part of the plants was damaged during the falls.

They are indeed, the terrace has no overhang so they're getting as much sun as they were before. They are about half a foot from their original location. These are determinate tomatoes so I just want them to ripen so I can use the pots for something else, haha. It's been a few weeks already, hopefully not much longer.
