Interesting Local nurseries and farm to visit in Dallas-Ft worth

Post  has55 on 8/1/2017, 7:53 pm

here's a farm that appears to be a great place to visit for us locals. Texas Country Reporter and John Koller visited the first site. Also other local places John Koller visited as he made his tour thru Texas.

Bonton Farm, in South Dallas, in an area that is a food desert

When i went to Bonton Farm, they were using large tree limbs borders like square foot garden wood border, mulch like Back to Eden , fertilizing with Garrent Juice , occasional orange oil for pest management and 30% shade cloth for the tomatoes. I thought this video was helpful about shade cloth.

That was a good introduction to shade cloth! I'm going to try to copy and paste under a shade cloth topic.
