We are taking a break for a while.  We have covered all our boxes with cardboard and plan to leave them covered for a while take some road trips and camping trips and either uncover em for spring or prolly just wait till fall next year.  resting the gardens and or backs.  It quit being fun so we decided to do other stuff for a while and start again when we get to missing fresh picked salads and such again.

Ok... I had a relapse.  I just got back from the nursery. Bought 6 Broccoli and 6  Cauliflower then I'm done, no..  NO,  REALLY, I'm done..... right after I plant more turnips and maybe some lettuce...  THEN..  I'm done.
I'm NOT planting anything else....  after I plant more radishes.   rock on

I know y'all like pics so let me throw out a few.
This is my compost pile I started on Fri afternoon. Sat morning, it was over 160* til I watered the top layer.

I use the "Drunken compost" recipe. (Google it).

This is after about a month.

This is where my beds were... Looks like a graveyard.

My Cabbage bed.

Cabbage bed two.

Mini red Bell peppers.

Mini YELLOW Bells.

These peppers are called "Snackers" and rightfully so. The SWEETEST peppers on earth.

Almost forgot.
A carrot planted in a 3 ft piece of pvc pipe. Last year I had one grow out the bottom of the 3e ft pipe.

17 new tomato cages. Sold for $5.00. we got'em for $1.25.

Fake jalapeno peppers. Only their sweep peppers.

SUPPORT OUR TROOPS buckets.

Easy straw. This is what I make my compost out of.

Mr. Booker, "Snackers" pepper - from what seed company? I tried Baker's Mini Yellow Bell (too small to handle) and Peperone Di Cuneo (better handling size, thick walled so I sliced and freezed with other bells for winter stir-fry). I am looking for a snack size with a longer body. I have grown Jimmy Nardino but I want one the shape and size of your Snacker. Thanks

Not really sure of the seed company. I bought some snackers last year and they were bigger than the ones this year. Last year they were the size of a large Jalapeno.  This year some of the peppers are small and more round while some are longer and fatter.

The ones I bought this year were in a medium size pot and I keep them on my picnic table next to my bbq grill.
Sorry I couldnt be more help. I just went out and looked for some kind of tag in the pepper pots. Nothing.

My wife says they were labeled "Lunch Box" Peppers. Maybe that helps. Good luck.
