I no longer have high cholesterol/triglycerides, no more high blood pressure and I'm no longer considered pre-diabetic! PLUS my fibromyalgia and osteo arthritis pain is MINIMAL.

If you're on Facebook you can join me at Healthy Kim where I give tips and recipes.

Since I posted this on Aug. 2nd I'm down to 131 lbs. I was 132 when I got out of the Air Force . . . in 1982.

GOOD JOB!

It's great to be back home with the cats and tending my SFG!

Wow! Here's hoping for a speedy recovery. My DIL had her tonsils removed last week and is down 15 lbs. The ILLNESS DIET is NOT recommended. Feel better!

I don't know what the rules are on weight loss during sickness or surgery and if congratulations are in order or not? thinking Very Happy If @donnainzone5 is feeling ok, then I suppose it's a good thing?

Part of the weight loss must be dehydration?? Nothing like getting back home.

Yes, I'm sure that some of the weight loss was from dehydration.

Not being able to tolerate the taste or smell of food and water, however, was a major factor.  The taste buds are gradually improving, but still not quite back to normal.

I'd like to lose another 15 lbs. or so....

Sorry CC. I'm mobile and trying to move some things around and it's been challenging to say the least. The m's were for a marker to save a spot. I think I am done now Razz

you're so right. I'm dealing with poor choices myself. When I went to Bonton Farm in Dallas, Tx, the poorest area and found first hand what a "food desert" neighborhood is, it was a rude awakening. Medicine is helpful, esp for the poor. my hope we will see in the future how medicine and real food can work together in restoring health. Food a real nutrient.
