I got my cap!

Post  daisyhill on 5/17/2010, 1:07 am

My SFG baseball cap that I won in the spring photo competition arrived here in New Zealand a few days ago. Thanks!! It's not really baseball cap season here (cold, dark, pouring rain, hardly any leaves left on the trees) but I'll put it away for when the sun is beating down.

Here I am posing happily in our cold, dark garden. I was going to pose in the SFG garden but it is extremely grim out there. Nobody is getting photos until I tidy it up

I can't forget about you guys, we have winter veg to take care of! Although the naughty naughty chickens broke into the veggie garden at the weekend and ate the leaves off most of our leafy greens. They are stalky greens now

And I guess that answers the second question. The chickens are fine, but very very naughty! Bold as brass. They have figured out a way to get through the back fence somehow, and I keep finding one or two of them in the back veggie garden. I am alerted to this by the third chicken, who hops up onto the patio table and peers in at me in the living room. When I see her up there, I know she's telling tales! And sure enough I usually find the other two up to no good. It's so funny the way they tattle on each other.

Hi Guys,

I received my SFG Cap also. It is great. Thanks alot.

I will be sending some picture of my gardening soon. I have beans over 10 feet tall. I am doing a lot of vertical growing. I have squash, melon, and Zunnie growing up the latter.

Very funny about the chickens. At least you have a snitch so you can hopefully minimize the damage. LOL.
