New Colorado gardener!

Post  Ellechim on 5/20/2010, 7:19 pm

Hi everyone!

I will be planting my very first garden this weekend, and cannot wait! SFG was suggested to my by a friend of mine (Hi, Stephanie!) and I'm SO glad she did!
I have a small area in my backyard that I plan on using.

I have A LOT of questions right now, but I will read through the forum first before asking. I can't wait to learn more about it and to get some great tips!

Thanks!

Welcome Ellechim!

You're going to love Square Foot Gardening! Have you started pulling together all your stuff to make your garden? Do you live near Stephanie? You're lucky to have a close friend to compare notes with. I'm down in the Springs and started this about a month or so ago.... and tonight I've started harvesting my lettuce and radishes and a green onion for my salad... first harvest!

It's a great bunch of people on these forums - don't be afraid to ask anything that you need to know!
