looks like black eggs on Lettuce

Post  MarcyG on 6/5/2010, 7:17 pm

I was getting lettuce from my non-SFG and noticed what looks like little black eggs on one of my lettuce plants I've goggled it and really didn't come up with much. I got rid of most the lettuce leaves that had it on it. can anyone help me of what this might be.

Thanks
Marcy

Since there's no answer from Ohioans yet, I'll throw in my two cents worth. In my climate, those little black things would be slug eggs.

No need to discard; just wash, rinse, repeat!
