Color of LINK text

Post  Wyldflower on 6/9/2010, 4:31 pm

I think that it would be a LOT easier to recognize when someone posts a link if the link text were a brighter color. I didn't even realize that LavenderDebs posted a link to a recipe, until someone questioned her post.

Having the normal text in dark green, and the link in black is not readily discernable to aged eyes like mine. Could the links be made BRIGHT green, or blue or some other color that would stand out?

Thanks!

Wildflower, I just highlight the link the make it bold and give it a bright color using the icons above. I usually say, "find it here" but this isn't a link. Just an example.

That definitely works with your posts - and I'll do that when I post a link, too... but there are so many of us and most of us will just use the default link color. So it won't make it easier for me to spot links in other people's posts.

I have to admit that I was a bit surprised that linking in a page or image didn't bold, colorize, and/or underline a link by default here on this website. I have been underlining them by hand. It would be really nice to have SOME default sort of way to draw attention to a link.

This makes me HAPPY!

The maroon (or whatever that color is) definitely stands out!

FUNNY, Wyld!

I love this site and you guys! Only problem is it keeps me out of the garden. But, on the brighter side it keeps me from cleaning house and paying bills when it's raining!

Wow, I was rereading some posts I read before and never noticed the links in them. Thanks for changing the color.
