Getting a head start on the season

I have put some photos of my summer garden in "gallery"
Click on "users personal albums"
"Ray'ssfg"
Click on picture to bring up photos.
Click on original picture (in small box) at top of photos.
Select slide show.

It was easy to upload pictures to personal album which is a great new feature of the new site.
Really enjoying the new forum and will be great when there are lots of posts.

OOPS after clicking on picture to bring up all photos you need to click on any photo to bring up the small box with "original picture in small box" then you can select slide show.

Getting a head start on the season

Post  Ray'ssfg on 3/3/2010, 6:33 pm

Thanks for the comments about our garden. Both Ruth and I love our garden and it is similar to the photos all year round. We have flowers for each season and just putting in our spring bulbs now. Off to the garden show next week to get some more.
I grow all my seedlings and also have about 30 hanging baskets and flower boxes. Ruth is from Pittsburgh PA, so that is where the motivation came from for the hanging baskets.
When Ruth decided to come to Australia to live I bought the house as it was very like houses I saw in the forests around Pittsburgh. A forest cottage.
The green house is made locally and is all made from pvc so is light to move around. It has cover for the winter so it is like a hot house.
It is a LOT of work but rewarding.
