More companies create tools for rooftop gardening

Post  Ha-v-v on 6/18/2010, 8:46 am

I found this article this morning. Gardening on rooftops, how exciting. I love to hear things about folks be self sufficient. One person in the article says gardeners become better consumers, they become more aware how their food is produced.

What a fasinating idea!

There are many company rooftops that could be turned into gardens.

There are alot of people living in apartments that would love these ideas.

Hopefully this catches on.

Happy Gardening Everyone....

Cool. My SFG is on my rooftop -- partly for lack of useable outdoor ground space and partly to keep it cleaner -- no road salt, feral cats, etc. to interfere with my garden. This is my first year, but so far, so good. I'd be interested in hearing from others with rooftop gardens -- I wonder if we could get our own little section of the forum?
