Open Square, WWYP (what would you plant)

Post  kimbertangleknot on 6/30/2010, 9:21 pm

I finally pulled my bush beans, so I have one empty square, I won't have enough of my new round of bush seedlings I started because, like usual (when will I learn) the peat decided to mold over 6 of the 9 I started. So what would you put there? I'm tempted to throw the radishes I have there just to see how they will do. I might run out to my local farmer's supply place or one of the walmarts that surround me to see if they have anything worth while to plant.

So any suggestions?

You could plant the bean seedlings that you have and then plant a few radishes in the front.

I decided to try the bean/radish route. I put some seeds out tonight and left enough room to plant the beans, so we'll see if it works. Thanks for the input.

That's the great thing about SFGing! It's constantly changing. I keep seeding things until Aug. Do you have lettuce? Maybe you have a small shady spot you could seed some in.
