Newbie from Canada

Post  intarsiagranny on 7/15/2010, 12:26 am

Hi everyone,
I live in the north central part of British Columbia, Canada.
I would like to learn all I can about SFG.

When I first joined I read every post in this forum. There are a lot more now, but you can sure get a lot of info from it! You are way up there. What is your growing season and do you do anything to extend it?

Oh yeah, and welcome!

Welcome to the forum, Granny. Like Chopper said, there is a wealth of info to be learned from reading all the posts. Then, finding a copy of the 'All New SFG' book is a must. Lots of good stuff to make your gardening as easy as can be.

Be sure to check out the Canadian regional forum towards the bottom of the index page-there are a half dozen members on the forum scattered around BC.

Happy Gardening

Welcome to the forum and the exciting world of SFG!

We'd love to see some pics of your garden. You can post them in the Showcase of Gardens.

Ditto what boffer said. Head on over to the Canada forum and get a unique Canadian perspective on SFGing.

Thanks to all of you for the warm welcome, I look forward to getting to know all of you, and learning more.
The intarsia in intarsiagranny is a woodcraft, not knitting.

Whoops, my bad; I'd only heard of that word in relation to knitting. Embarassed
