Mostly my attitude! weeee

Plants are taking off for the run to the finish, but I'm running out of summer for the cukes and squashes. I've always been able to direct seed them. This year I should have started them indoors. We have a dozen green tomatoes and a few peppers that are teasing us-we'll see.

Ironically, I'm just finishing up our 'outdoor' kitchen in my wife's shop. It's primary purpose is for canning. But it probably won't get used this year unless we buy our produce.

I've already started my list of things to do differently next year, how about you?

Ironically, I'm just finishing up our 'outdoor' kitchen in my wife's
shop. It's primary purpose is for canning. But it probably won't get
used this year unless we buy our produce.
I bet next years crops will keep that kitchen moving !! What ever time the kitchen gets this year will prepare it for next year, where everything goes etc Smile All where the cook wants it Smile
I can't wait to have an extra "kitchen" !!! My goal is to be able to bake breads, make jams and sell them with our veggies !! But the house is the first goal Smile I also would like the outdoor kitchen as well. I do my summer cooking on a camp stove outside and forget using the oven, in a 30 ft trailer it wont ever cool off again.


I've already started my list of things to do differently next year, how about you?


Boy do I know that one, all the things that "need" to be done different for me, the list is getting longer!!

But Im having so much fun in the learning process Smile

We just got back from vacation. I have green tomatoes that I have been keeping an eye on. One of my kids was watering for me. He was invited to help himself to all the zucchinni he wanted. He actually likes the stuff. While watering the tomatoes he spotted several largish greens that looked good for a fry with the zucchinni. Gurrrrrrr. (He said that they were wonderful)
