My first carrots picked today, July 19th.

These are the carrots I had planted in the A-frame, seeds sown May 13th. I didn't get very many from the square but any is good for me. The fatter one is a Mokum and the others are Nantes. I like smaller carrots that are sweet so these should be great with my chicken for supper tonite, and the first tomato....

This is my early morning harvest with my 1st tomato. I'll let you know how an early variety Oregon Spring tom tastes after supper tonite.

very nice looking carrots! Mine I have seeded twice and the results have been terrible. But on the bright side, the aubergine, tomatoes and peppers are really looking great.
