Asparagus Green BeAnS

Post  1chichi on 7/23/2010, 3:43 pm

Seems like I've been waiting forever for these green beans to show up!
They are on the back row of my SFG, so they have the fence to climb on.
They have also reached over, grabbed some of the tomato plants and pulled them to the fence.
The 2nd
**The 2nd pic is the longest one so far.
I started picking a few last week, and I'm trying to pick at half this length.

Oh, I'm so jealous. Planted them the first time this year and zero - nada - zilch beans. Nice healthy plants, though. Perhaps they'll pick up this fall?

Thanks Chocolatepop and Belfrybat.
They take a long time before they start bearing beans.
You're right Belfrybat, because there's nothing in my garden as lush and deep green as these vines.
