A new favorite simple snack

Post  jenjehle on 8/7/2010, 1:32 am

I found that a few of my favorite things added together, turned out to taste wonderfully as a quick and healthy snack!

Take a Wasa Crispbread* (sold at Meijer, Kroger, etc. in the 'healthier' whole grains foods area or check for a product locator at wasa.com) and spread some fresh adocado on top, how ever much to your liking. My liking means lots of avocado Smile
Then sprinkle cumin and lime salt (sold in my town in the produce dept at Warmart in a green shaker bottle-best stuff ever!!!! Amazing in Chili!)
Lay on a few or more pieces of fresh cilantro
Top with fresh SFG tomatoes!

The best!!!! I could eat these (along with tomato sandwiches) all day!

*I guess you could you any kind of cracker but Wasa Crispbread are my fav! They're healthy, full of fiber and taste amazing.

If anyone tries this or any other variation, let us know. I'm always looking for yummy ideas to try!

That sounds really tasty, jenjehle. I've only recently come to like avocado (yes, silly, I know!) but I have loved that wasa crispbread for a long time. Now I just have to hope my tomatoes ripen! Very Happy
