Broccoli Seeds Sprouted

I planted something and it grew. Yipee! The seeds I soaked sprouted 1 day earlier. For what a pain it was to handle the wet seeds it wasn't worth the one day. I put them out on my porch to get some sun. I kept the green house on them until it gets warmer later in the day.

Ekk...excited!

It's a lovely feeling when your first seedlings come out, isn't it? My first ones were broccoli, too.
From the picture, it looks like the seedlings are "leaning" towards the light. If you put some tinfoil behind them to reflect the light they're getting from the front, they'll get more light and grow stronger.

I planted my seeds in burpee peat pods about a week ago around lunch time. The NEXT NIGHT the broccoli had already sprouted! Less than 36 hours, packet said 10-12 days! The cabbage & romaine lettuce sprouted on day 3. Now I'm worried I started them too soon.
