What's going on with my pumpkin leaves

Post  AZDYJ2K on Sat 28 Aug 2010 - 16:04

Does anyone recognize what's going on with these pumpkin leaves? The one on top shows one leaf and the bottom one shows another leaf. The bottom one looks kind of silver and the veins are more pronounced. It also has a silver sheen on it and the leaf feels wilted.

How should I treat this? Thanks.

I don't know, but I suspect it's not good. Sad

Uh, that's how mine started with the mildew, and then the squash vine borer got the plant. I have no idea what you should do. I read that the powdery mildew isn't an issue in wet environments, so to water it (seems counterintuitive to me) and make sure it doesn't get too dried out. Didn't matter for me, the borer just killed the plant. Soryy. I'm no help.
