My Fall garden

Post  dixie on 9/18/2010, 1:41 pm

I finally posted pictures of my first Fall garden & put them on my blog. I'm tickled green with my SFG success this year.

Garden is on the second post at Diggin' With Dixie

Oh Dixie, your garden is great, even with a Kujo and insect pests.
Best of luck with your jewelry sales. Those bracelets are so nice.
Is Mom still scheduled to come home Monday?
You really have your work cut out for you with all the pies you have your fingers in.

Hi Dixie,

Thanks for posting the pictures. I need to see all of the gardens I can for inspiration. I really like how you shaded things.

Your jewelry is BEAUTIFUL!! Such talent.

Too bad I don't wear jewelry.

That looks great. If we don't get a winter like last year you may be able to stretch that out quite a while. Good job.

Do you think it is too late to plant some more delicata squash? We love this stuff.

It has been almost a decade since we grew any winter squash, but it seems like it needs quite a while to get big enough. When we did grow it we planted it at the same time we planted our summer squash. If you do try it let me know how it works out.
