Hello from KY

Post  kygardener on 11/3/2010, 5:01 pm

Hello,

I had a 4' X 6' square foot garden this year and loved it. I plan to do more next year. I am in northeast KY by the Ohio river. Zone 6A.

This is my first post but I have been reading the forum for several months. I have learned so much here. Thanks to everyone who takes the time to post and share! When I started I checked out several different forums, but this is the one I kept up with. Everyone is so helpful and encouraging.

Yes, this is a great forum, unlike another gardening forum I was on previously. No matter what you posted about , someone was always there to jump right in put you down. Welcome.

Welcome, Kygardener. Am I correct that you are in the Upper South region? Pattipan, our regional host, posts periodic updates for our region. You might want to check them out if you haven't already.

Tell us about your garden - both successes and failures. And of course, we always like to see photos.

glad you\'re here

Howdy and Welcome KyGardener:

Thanks for posting and letting us know about you and your garden. As you have found out one SFG is just not enough. We are currently expanding our SFGs (again) as we find free material. our bigest expense this year in building new beds has been the screws to put the SFGs together!

God Bless, and again Welcome.

Ward and Mary.
