Big welcome and Thank You! to Camprn

Post  martha on 11/5/2010, 12:48 pm

As anyone can tell, it has been some time since I have had time to post, never mind act as Regional Host. I have (irresponsibly) been reluctant to resign, because I love this place and didn't want to face facts that having more time is not going to be any time soon.

Had I been responsible, I would have suggested Camprn to be the new New England Regional Host. So....introducing our new Regional Host.....Camprn! cheers:

I'll be around at least browsing, and I certainly hope to be back as a frequent flyer - but New England now has an active host with lots of experience - Camprn, I have always gotten a lot out of your posts!

Thanks,

Martha

Sad to see you resign Martha! But welcome Camprn!! Love both of you!! I seem to be experiencing the same problem as you Martha not enough hours in the day, so I totally understand the dilemma. I look forward to seeing both of you around.

Lots of changes happening. Auntij said it all. I, too, have been too busy to be on the forum lately. Noticed yesterday that it had been a month since my last post. Wow! Anyway, I know you can't stay away, Martha, but sorry to see you go. And of course, Camprn, congratulations on the new task ahead! You'll do great!

I usually do a poor job at self introduction and it's the end of a particularly challenging week, so at this point I will simply say thank you Martha for your service as regional host. I hope you get a bit of a respite and are able to visit more often as it gets into wintertime.

OK here goes the introduction
Hello, I am Camprn, happy hi I am a Square Foot Gardener and I can't help it... Very Happy
I have lived in New England for nearly all of my life. I began gardening with my father when I was 12 years old and have been growing things ever since. My most challenging years of gardening were when I lived in a condo & I was a practicing guerrilla gardener Twisted Evil

All the flowers certainly brightened up the place. flower
I have had row gardens and raised beds and spent a number of years working in landscaping and building English style perennial flower gardens. This year (after years of plotting to get out of the condo)I bought a small house & I built a new vegetable garden in the SFG style. Totaling just 112 square feet & using Mel's principals as best I could, I was very pleased with the results.
I I love you this forum and all of you fine folks that have & share such great knowledge, skills and ideas. Thank you, one and all for being members of the fabulously friendly SFG forum.
