Hello

Post  sully on 12/19/2010, 1:41 pm

I can't wait to get started. I have become very serious about gardening. I think it has somethingn to do with my age or my waist line. I'm not sure which one it is. I hope to give and receive some good information.
Talk to you soon.

Once the bug bites it is hard to cure - unless you are row gardening. LOL. You have come to the right place. Things are a little quiet now but as soon as spring hits it should be wild and crazy again.

Welcome Sully! I've been using the SFG method for MANY years. We just moved back into this house after 3 years in Germany, so I'm starting from scratch.

I just got an email that my seed order is being shipped! : )

Howdy Sully:

WOW a new friend glad you are here. If you do not have your own copy of the, ALL NEW Square Foot Gardening" book run out and get one. The book can be found in almost any bookstore, many home improvement stores (Lowe's) and through this website. Reading and re-reading the book has been a great pleasure and learning for me and got me back into gardening after I quit rowing and hoeing. Smile Your weather is different than our in Coastal Virginia, but, gardening the Square Foot way is the easiest ever invented.

Again Welcome and God Bless, Ward and Mary.

Don't know about you, but for me it was the age of my waist line. That isn't completely true, it is for sanity. It is also for love.

Eating seasonally, keeping track of the phases of the moon, feeling the loam in the palms of my hands is better than any gossip session I have ever been to for sanity. My head clears and Elohim, who speaks in that soft breathy voice, can be heard from my knees in the dirt. For love there are fresh salads, bags of beans to give away and all sorts of berries that are worth their weight in gem-stones to those who only know what packaged and shipped from southern California produce is like. For love because it is getting more difficult to find a pie cherry when someone wants a simple cherry pie.

Deborah....did I remember to say welcome to the board?
