hallo aan allen die nederlands spreken.

Post  tony d on 12/26/2010, 11:10 am

Alvast bedankt.

hi Megan, thanks for the big welcome.
I'm actually living in Belgium, that's just beside the Netherlands. We all speak Dutch.
I accidentally came across a website that was about SFG. I really like the concept and decided to give it a try.
So next spring I'll start the adventure. I'll keep you posted on my blog.
thanks.

(Welcome to the forum, Chip. I checked out your blog. It looks great.

Where did you find the box symbols and the vegetables to go in the box grids? I really liked the look of those.)

Hi, Tony, and welcome to the forums.

I'm LaFee, an American transplanted to France, and the Regional Host for the Europe forums.

There are several posters from Holland that were active last summer, so I'm hoping they'll be back in the spring. I think we're all just sitting with our noses pressed against the window right now, waiting for the snow to melt!

In the meantime, you're welcome to sit here and talk about all the things we WANT to plant next spring!

hi Ander217
I can work with Sketchup quit good, I use it in my profession as a 3D modeler, so I made the 3d model of the boxes myself and assigned the veg pictures to the model. I got these pictures from seeds catalogs.
No big deal, really.

Maybe not for you, but I'm the person whose kids had to make a cheat sheet of how to turn the computer off and on when I got my first computer. I'm still suitably impressed with your models and look forward to seeing more of your plans.

Thanks for sharing.

Hi Tony:

I don't speak Dutch either, but it looks similar enough to German that I understood a bit. My aunt used to live in Eindhoven when she was a child (she was taken prisoner during the war) and I've been there and also to Amsterdam and Keukenhof.

You say you now live in Belgium, well my most favorite place on earth is Brugge! We visited those areas when we lived in Germany and took our sons through the Benelux region.

Anyway I just wanted to say, "Hi!"

Kim

thanks Kim,

Brugge is indeed very beautiful and only a 30 minutes drive from where I live.
I think I should be happy living in Belgium.

Post  Mirjam on 1/5/2011, 5:18 am

Hoi Tony!
