compost in a trash can?

Post  backyard Jeff on 1/7/2011, 8:55 am

on youtube I found people making compost in a 40gal trash can. You drill holes in it, all over, top side's and bottom. Put your stuff in and roll it often to keep it turned well. I just started this and dont know if it works or if im wasting my time. Has anyone out there tried making compost this way? If so how did it work for you? Any tip's?

Thanks, I looked it over and I think my can might work! Im looking forward to that "black gold" I like the idea of putting bolts on the side to mix it up better when I roll it. I love this forum. When I cut my PC on I go here first, before my email or facebook.
