Who is Jessica from NC?

Post  quiltbea on 2/3/2011, 5:41 pm

I got some seeds today but I don't know who on the forum sent them.
Who is Jessica from NC? I don't want to put more than that on the board to keep your identification safe.

I want to thank you for the variety. Now I have herbs I can start this year. I thought I'd get into herbs in a bigger way besides just parsley and basil.

I also want to send you something in return, if I can.

Please at least PM me to let me know who you are.

Thank you again,
quiltbea

Are you there Jessica?

I'd sure like to know who to thank for the seeds I got today.

I searched in the member list for different variations of *jessica* but nothing came up. I tried all three search boxes, and that didn't work either!

Wouldn't you have PM'd her with your address? Any chance you still have that PM?

I didn't get a PM from anyone or send a PM to anyone with than name. The little packets arrived today and there's a full name and address from where its come from on the envelope, but nothing else inside to let me know who is this person.
The people I'm dealing with so far are different persons that that one.
Thanks for looking boffer.
Its one of those unsolved mysteries I guess.

Maybe, but I don't know her by the name given on the envelope.

Whoever she is, she's an angel to send me the seeds. I'll use them and think of my unknown benefactor.

Thank you Jessica

Post  quiltbea on 2/4/2011, 11:46 am

kimber.......
Well, thank you so much.
I didn't know your name so couldn't make the connection.

Thank you a bunch for the lovely seeds.
I wish there was something I could mail back to you.

Let me know if cabbage, cantaloupe, sugar peas, lima beans, or Black Cherry or Matt's Wild Cherry tomatoes can tempt you.

Thank you again,

You're very welcome. I read this thread and freaked out, "Did I mail the wrong seeds to someone?" And then I remembered that unless I know everyone's address I highly doubt that was possible. Glad they got to you safe! I had to send out another "order" to someone because the post office decided they didn't like seeds. I might hit you up on the cabbage for fall, I love me some cabbage, but I have all the tomato plants I can handle right now Sad I need want more but... I'm trying to be good.

I'll send out a packet of Primax cabbage seeds on Monday 2/7.

I'm glad we got that all sorted. I try to remember to put my forum name on the envelope as well in case that's how they remember me. Its hard remembering all the actual names and addresses of the members.

Thanks again,

Not a lot but I'm swapping seeds now with 6 folks.
Its not just age that keeps me from remembering names.

In fact, even when I was young names escaped me. I can meet someone I've worked with for 4 or 5 years in the past and they'll start talking to me and I know where and when, but not the name. Embarrassing. Embarassed

I could never remember them when young. Can you imagine how hard it is now? Rolling Eyes
