Plastic Raised Beds (revised)

Post  jumiclads on 2/5/2011, 6:51 pm

Has anyone had any experience with the raised beds shown on this web site (Link below)

Raised Beds(revised)

Just wondered if they were any good. Cheaper for me to use these than buy timber and screws.

Whilst you looking have a look round this site there are some good things on there.

I'm actually buying a similar one to the second one on the page of the link you supplied.

Two-Tier Raised Bed

I currently have two 3x3 plastic beds that have a self watering system, and I love them. The plastic hasn't warped at all, but since they're white, I can't say if they faded or not. I'm buying two of the ones above as I read through the first three pages of reviews, it had the great thing of being able to remove the "double" layer and turn it into another 4x4 bed if needed, essentially getting three 4x4 beds 6" deep for next to nothing. Wood around here isn't cheap, but I also need to make sure things look nice for the HOA.
