Planting Calendar for Central Ohio

Post  vegangoatgirl on 2/26/2011, 3:00 pm

Does anyone have a good planting calendar for central ohio? It's a tricky area to identify planting zones. I'd ideally like to have a planting zone calendar that goes by zip code. Thanks, 'Vegan Goat Girl' in Newark, Ohio

Try this: http://www.garden.org/zipzone/ That will get you started on your zone. Also look up local farmer's markets, neighbors who have existing gardens, ask them what timing works well for them.

Happy gardening! flower Let us know how your garden grows.
