"The Zoo" is new to PA!

Post  The Zoo on Sun 27 Feb 2011 - 5:32

Hi! I'm Michelle and my family just moved to Oxford, PA this past September. I tried my first SFG last year when we lived in DE and sadly we had to leave before we got to enjoy the tomatoes and pumpkins. However, I'm starting to plan for my next attempt at SFG in my new home. The yard is bigger and I have a long run of fence to use for the climbing plants. My kids (we have 5) are picking the fruits/veggies they want to grow and I'm looking into getting my seeds and/or seedlings from a local farmer.

I gleaned so much useful info from this site last year and I'm excited to be here again.

Thanks for having me!
~Michelle

Hi Michelle, welcome to the forum! glad you\'re here

Sad that you got interrupted mid-stream last year, but at least you got your toes wet and sounds like bigger and brighter opportunities for this year! Please do let us know how it goes and what your plans are.

Happy gardening! flower

Megan

Welcome to all of you in The Zoo.
I'm glad you will be able to get your SFG established finally.
I'm sure it'll be a fun thing for the children to share.
Good luck,

quiltbea
