New to SFG from Horse Shoe NC

Post  Jackie on 2/28/2011, 6:36 pm

Purchased the newest book today and looking forward to trying this. Have started tomato seeds and strawberry plants already. Waiting impatiently for last frost date. Very excited to get my hands dirty again. Loving western North Carolina. Just about anything grows here! cheers Jackie

Jackie, Welcome from cold, white Maine.

It sounds like you are ready for spring to arrive in your part of the country.
Have fun with your SFG.
Good luck,

quiltbea

Welcome Jackie! I'm not far from you! I'm in Black Mountain - a little higher elevation than you "I think" but pretty close. This is a great place for learning. Happy Gardening and we look forward to hearing more from you!

Welcome to the forum, Jackie.

I'm guessing you're in the Mid-South region? It's always great to welcome another Mid-South gardener. Don't forget to check out the regional thread for info specific to your growing zone.

Keep us posted on how your garden grows, please.
