Interesting Organic Gardening Arcticle

Post  Kabaju42 on 3/10/2011, 11:07 pm

I'm not one to worry much about global warming or organic gardening, but I found this article and thought it was very interesting. I guess for all the worry about creating carbon sinks, we've got a great one going right here.

Annie's garden kit

Post  ander217 on 3/11/2011, 7:39 am

Did anyone notice the ad on that site for Annie's foods? I clicked on it and found this:

Thinking about spring planting? So are we! Let Root 4 Kids give you a jump start with a FREE gardening gift pack, complete with veggie seeds, gardening gloves and a link to a downloadable gardening guide filled with tips and fun activities for the whole family.

You buy two Annie's products then go to their website at Annies.com/root to get the garden kit.

There are more gardening ideas for kids on the site - makes me wish the foundation had a special kids' section on their website - maybe with coloring pages and information for kids' SFG boxes.

Did anyone else request seeds & gloved from Annie's? I requested mine mid-March, but have not yet received them. Just wondered if anyone else has.

Ask and you shall receive! Our Annie's order came today. Cute-as-can-be gloves for the kidlet, a package of Danvers 126 Half Long carrots, and a packet of coupons for Annie's products. Woo Hoo! bounce
