Yeah for !!!

I spent the day outside doing some spring cleanup. And I can actually call it spring cleanup now, because it's spring!

I have a little more spring in my step as I spring to my SFG to see if spring has thawed out my TT yet!

Hurray for spring!! We spent the day outside filling my 4x8 bed with brand new MM. It was a beautiful day here, 70 and mostly sunny. There was a good breeze, too. It's supposed to storm tonite so I took the plastic off my hoop house to get some rain on my garlic, onions, and lettuces.

Happy Spring!!

Re: Spring has sprung!!!!!!!!!!!

Post  Old Hippie on 3/21/2011, 12:32 pm

So they say........according to some guy on the radio it was at 4:00pm yesterday that it arrived. Now what I would like to know is why 4:00 pm and not first thing in the morning....say 7 or 8 AM or perhaps 10 am? And WHO is it that says it arrives then and by what authority? Also, are they the ones responsible for the new snow that we got yesterday? I am not impressed.

BUT, there is no new snow today. I am thankful for the longer days and I can feel the warmth of the sun in the living room. It makes it bright and warm. And ..it gets above freezing every day so although I still have waist deep snow in the rest of the yard, I now have a three-foot strip of grass showing beside the garage. That part never gets much snow because of the roof overhang but it gives me hope. That is the place we are going to put my greenhouse.

But enjoy your spring....Aub. Hopefully it is warm and beautiful.
