Hello From Okemos, MI!

Post  Iheartmygarden on 3/30/2011, 10:01 pm

Hello all,

I'm new to SFG and very excited to have found the book, forum etc. Look forward to a productive summer!
I'm in the process of getting supplies, and I was just wondering if anyone in the area is out there who could suggest a nearby supplier for compost?
Thanks much!! flower

Iheart

Nice to meet you and very glad you dropped by and stayed.

I'm not in your area, so can't comment on suppliers of compost. Perhaps you can check thru your phone book for nurseries, feed and seed stores, big box stores and the like. There may even be local compost available from goats, dairies, or municiple recycling centers.

Keep us posted on your progress and share pictures please.

Welcome aboard from St. Louis, MO. Glad to have you here.

Lots of friendly people here willing to help any question you have. We also love to see pictures of your progress. Get comfortable and I hope to see you get involved with us.

As for the compost, I, too, am not that close to you. But, if you don't get a response here soon, jump in either the Midwest subforum or the Compost forum. Someone not looking here may be able to help soon.

Get excited. Spring is coming......eventually.
