Breaking down the LS Region

Post  FarmerValerie on 4/3/2011, 9:39 am

Hey everyone, me again, I promise, this is it for a while, my arm really is hurting and I think it's swelling again. (See April 2011 thread here in LS).

I would like to ask for help with this region by making information to newbies by thier area more redily available. What I mean is like the thread I started "Planting Guide in NE TX". If someone-does not matter who, from each state, or if your state is like TX, part of state, could just start a thread for that area, and then post any links to more area specific planting that would be awesome. When someone new comes along and you see they are in your area, you could then just refer them to that thread.

The area I live in is called the ArkLaTex, it's the four corners of AR, LA, TX & OK, so I can watch any of those areas for planting/harvesting guides. I've spent hours (days more likely) looking for help with planting, harvesting, bugs, native plants, you name it, I've spent time looking it up lately, maybe I can save someone the time.

So maybe if each state in our region had a topic, then you could post int he title something like "planting in Bowie County TX" or your part of the state. What do ya'll think?

Yep, quite a show early in the morning! we missed a bad cell by about 5 miles... hail to golfball size, reported to be over half a foot deep to the north and east of me...

Hopefully it will storm in the daytime time soon so that I can check out my drain work...
