Great information for the PNW

Post  Nonna.PapaVino on 4/6/2011, 10:21 am

Oregon State University has a list of plants/seeds which do particularly well here in the Pacific Northwest, divided into four climate sections. Well worth checking out if you need any more seeds or plants: http://extension.oregonstate.edu/gardening/osu-recommended-vegetables-provide-best-yields-local-gardens

Thank you Nonna,

I did manage (by accident, not design) to pick up a few of the recommended varieties for my region, while in the throes of seed gathering at TSC and then whenever I walked into any store with a seed display. If it was pretty, different or just had an interesting name, I probably bought it.
