Pics of first SFG

Post  sarah in the garden on 4/7/2011, 9:15 am

Trying to post pics of my sfg, hope this works!

5x5 box, a little too big. Will definitely make 4x4 next time.

Bush beans!

Carrots, yeah!

Smaller brick box I made for melons.

Sarah (me!) in the garden. Most pics taken by my 4 yr old helper, Tamsin.

Looks great! It's so much fun when things start growing. I can't wait!

I think you have a little photographer on your hands there. Great pics!

Lovely!! Tamsin is a great photographer. Does he/she help in the garden as well?

Your garden looks fantastic. Thanks for sharing those.

I hear you on the garden size. Mine are only 4' x 4' and even that I find is a bit hard to reach the middle squares. This spring I am going to build a couple of new ones for cucs and watermelons. I think I will only make them 2' by 6' or 2' by 8'. I will have to see which fits the space better.
