My first harvest on SFG

Post  GreenBlueberry on 4/9/2011, 2:46 pm

One strawberry. But it was super sweet! And hopefully a good sign of things to come.

My first harvest on SFG

Post  sherryeo on 4/9/2011, 8:35 pm

I'm not sure I could have eaten it, tasty as it mght have been. I think I'd have had it bronzed and put in a place of honor beside the bronzed baby booties! Congratulations. I'm gonna have to try growing strawberries sometime - they're just gorgeous.

Yea! I can never find a strawberry in the market that has any flavor any more. I may have to try and grow some. I also like the fact that they grow year after year.
