I'm building my trellises this weekend and have looked into weaving the trellis net. does anyone one have any instructions and what is the difficulty level and time to make one?

thanks in advance.

Please clarify. Are you talking about weaving your own netting or weaving the poles into the edge of existing netting? If you want to just weave the poles into existing netting, we have had a thread lately regarding this: Wove my trellis on. I don't know how to make that a link to the thread, but you can do a search for it. If you are wanting to weave your own netting, someone else will have to jump in here.....!

i was wondering if I could weave my own netting but am thinking of just nailing the grid on the trellis.

How to make a net

Simple enough way to do this hopefully the link takes you there, but if not then... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AF8r-JPIOh8
I will be using this method to help support the corn I am going to try to grow this year. Made with para cord, it should be plenty strong enough to support almost anything. Very easy method and easy to remember.

Cienfuegos,

Weaving your own netting might be a lot of fun, but when you can buy 5 ft high by 25 feet long of nylon trellis netting for $10, I have too many other things to do with my time that have a better return on hours worked.
