Scored Vermiculite for Super Cheap!!

Post  jamesindetroit on 4/25/2011, 11:11 pm

If you are a Southeastern Michigander, most specifically, Oakland County..Farmer John's Greenhouse in Farmington Hills has 4.0 CU FT of Vermiculite, Coarse grade for 19.99....a steal by all measures of other local retailers..They are pretty well stocked according to staff..

Buyer Beware, I went in twice, inquiring once, and purchasing 5 bags the second, and both times, they thought I was growing Pot...

hehe...not funny...

Sounds like a great buy!! If gas wasn't so expensive right now, I'd take the truck down and pick some up... The round trip would probably cost a full tank and that's about $120.00 at $4.17/gal to add to how much it costs. I think it would be cheaper to purchase it on line for me. A month ago gas prices were cheaper and it would have worth it. Evil or Very Mad

These two might want to car-pool with you. I hear they have a van and an ice cream truck... Cool
