List Of Things To Plant

Post  fndrbndr on 4/28/2011, 8:46 am

Sorry if this question has been answered elsewhere on the forum...but can anyone point me to a list of fruit/vegetables that would grow well in the Colorado Springs area?

We're trying to decide what to plant, and a comprehensive list (including which varieties do better here) would help make it easier.

Thx!

Im using the almanac more and more this year. I have bought it the last 4 but not used it until this year Smile I am trying planting by the moon. If anything it has helped me to stay on task with things. It lists even when to prune, and fight pests.

The Colorado State University extension office offers the following on their website:

http://www.cmg.colostate.edu/gardennotes/721.pdf

This should get you going.
