Cucumbers

Harvested and eat my first garden fresh cucs ever. They were from my container garden. I had no idea just how good they could be. It is called "Patio, Very Kuhl" Oh my it is very tasty.

i grew some cukes last year and they are very tasty straight off the vine. Makes you spoiled and never want to buy another store cuke ever again...glad you found out how great they are!

Shannon, that is great! cheers Once you get started with this you are spoiled and never want to go back to store bought veggies! I can hardly wait to have cucumber sandwiches on home made bread.

That's awesome! With all the weather over here, I just planted my seeds today. It's gonna be awhile before I catch up to you....lol.

Can you show me a pick of your hoagie roll with delicious deli meats, sliced tomatoes and cucumbers, SFG lettuces, onions, and red cabbages on it? That would just get me into the garden yelling at the veggies........C'MON, LET'S GET SOME GROWING GOING! DON'T YOU REALIZE WE ARE BEHIND ALL THE FLORIDIANS!

I actually loved to eat my last summer Cukes straight off the vine when they were still warm from the sun (much like my maters). They don't have that "crunch" to them when they come from the refrigerator but there's something curiously wonderful about eating warm Cukes IMO.
