Exciting product !! Buffalo loam / compost

Post  staf74 on 5/6/2011, 10:17 am

Came across this on the web. I'm posting in the correct region I hope as their retailers are in WY and CO.

Sounds like an awesome product, especially the tea. If you are close and need another compost source, this could be it. I would use it in a heartbeat but alas, too far from me.

Perhaps those retailers might ship if you call them and you are in neighboring states but across country might be too cost prohibitive. Who knows...worth a shot though as these are 100% pastured animals and beautifully majestic creatures.

Three local Ace Hardward stores are listed as retailers. It my be worth a visit to the manager of your local Ace to see if there is a interstore shipping that could be utilized.

We get this product from our local Natural Grocers market...It is an awesome natural product and seems to be working well...(Just make sure your water is Non-Chlorinated or it will kill all the microorganisms)

My ACE will do this for most items. I have to order my furnace filters this way.

Staf, I can't believe you aren't willing to make that drive. Sheesh, and I thought you were a dedicated fellow? Wink

Buffalo pies

Post  littlejo on 7/11/2011, 12:06 pm

I'm too far for shipping cost also. But, there are a couple of places that have buffalo. Does anyone know how their manure compares to cow or horse. Is it better because they are pasture fed? I've been making compost and look to get better stuff to make better compost.
