How far apart should my tomato plants be from corn?

Post  kurango on 5/6/2011, 4:07 pm

From "Carrots Love Tomatoes" "Don't plant tomatoes near corn because the tomato and corn earworm are identical."

So my question is how far apart should they be? Not in the same yard? Or x amount of feet?

If you are doing your daily 'hunting' of insect pests you probably won't have the worries big farmers have with those pests. You can easily see them and pick them off with intrepid daily hunts.

I wouldn't worry too much for SFG. In different beds should be adequate.

In this I've had little experience so someone with more, please feel free to jump right in and answer.
