Finally got to plant!!!!!!

Post  cabinfever on 5/7/2011, 4:01 pm

I actually have something other than air in my boxes! I'm sooooooo excited! I planted carrots, broccoli, beets, swiss chard, radishes, spinach and lettuce! In a few more weeks I'll plant the cauliflower and green beens. Tomatoes will go in the ground, herbs in planters and potatoes in 5 gallon buckets. happy banana

I have greenhouse tops to go over each bed. It still gets nippy at night. I'll have to post some pix. It's always interesting to see someone else's set-up. They all look so different, even though it's the same method. Mine are on legs, and it was so nice to plant without breaking my back! Just had to share.

I envy you your table tops boxes. I love gardening, but having to come in and rest before I'm done because the bending is painful, gets old.
Enjoy your garden. It sounds great. You've made a good start.
