Tomato transplant placement inside of square

Post  DTharp12 on 5/9/2011, 5:07 pm

I am closing in on getting my first plants into my first box. I am wondering if I should "center" the transplant inside of the square or place it closer to the northern edge of the square as to decrease the distance to the trellis netting?

I plan on laying my tomatoes in diagonally with the top of the plant at the north corner where I have my tomato spirals located. This way the plant will get a good root structure by having a lot of the stem covered with MM.
