church row garden experience???

Post  Patty from Yorktown on 5/19/2011, 7:21 am

Good Morning,
I think I will live to regret this choice, however...My Mother-in-Law asked if I wanted half of a church garden plot. It is about 7 feet by 35 feet. I said I would help weed and plant, however watering will be a problem for me. She will do that. I have never had a row garden, so now I will know how the other half lives. Do to years past problems, I cannot plant vining plants or corn. Of course those are the main plants I am interested in. Should be interesting to see how I do taking care of my square foot garden, a large school garden and a community church garden. This could be the summer of zeppelin zucchinis.

As the church would say....it's a opportunity for you to grow. Neat undertaking for you imo. Have fun with it. But, you will definitely see a difference...
