I need feedback on pictures, any volunteers?

Post  boffer on 3/3/2010, 6:41 pm

I've got two things going on in the practice thread, which is here:

Code:
http://squarefoot.creatingforum.com/general-sfg-talk-f5/this-thread-is-for-practicing-posting-t31.htm

The first 4 pics are the same, but I resized them before uploading. On my puter I can only see one trailer tire and in the fourth pic I can't see any. Is anybody else seeing the same thing? Admin Alan thinks they all look the same.

The bottom half of the page is instructions for people to upload pics from their computer in case they don't have pics posted on a pic hosting website.

Could you try posting a pic from your computer to see if the instructions make sense?

Thanks

I'll watch for posts and be logged in the chat box too

I tried loading a couple of pics before work this AM but couldn't. It did let me load my video which surprised me. I'll follow your link.

I'm seeing what you're seeing - only one trailer tire in the 4rd pic and none in the 4th. Will try uploading a pic of my own. - Tim

FYI...
Just posted a pic in the testing forum and it was cropped as well. I set it for 640 but it lopped off the right side of the image. Couldn't see how to make it 600. - Tim

Hi Tim,

Thanks for your help. Since Admin Alan couldn't see it, I thought I was going nuts. It has to be changed in the Administration Panel. But I'm sure he'll want to see it before changing it.

Thanks for jumping in Tim. I had to make a rescue run for a stranded family member.

I posted my pics yesterday in harvest blizzard thread and they were perfect and today they are different. There is large text saying click to enlarge. Is there somethign I need to do differently, or is this just part of the practicing with the new forum? I added them by linking IMG tags from my photobucket acct.

You did good, Jen. Admin Alan tweaked the software late last night-a bit of a tweak too much I think! He's out of the office till this afternoon when he'll have a chance to fix it.
