Stunted Tomatoes?

Post  Weatherkid on 6/2/2011, 11:27 am

I have a problem, I have 4 amish paste tomatoes that I transplanted about 3-4 weeks ago. I planted them at the same time as the other cherokee purple and bradley ones (which are growing very well). The strange thing is that the amish paste ones haven't hardly grown at all... maybe a tiny leaf or two at best.

What could be the cause of this? They don't seem to be dying as they are growing extremely slowly.

Any help would be appreciated,

They are probably just getting used to their new environment. As long as they look good, I wouldn't worry about them. They are probably just working on roots instead of upward growth. (You're probably watching them too carefully--they only grow when you aren't looking Twisted Evil .)
