Hello from Colorado Springs

Hi,

My name is chris.

I am an active duty army soldier stationed in colorado Springs CO.

On my last deployment someone was talking about SFG and of course i started to GOOGLE it.

Your site came out as one of the first few.. and you have had me hooked ever since.

I love all the creative ideas and thoughts expressed here.

i have been back from this last deployment since august.. but now that my Fiance is moving out here... its time to get off my duff and get my own garden created. 8-)

So .. I have posted in the Mountain range thread for some thoughts on what I can accomplish.

Welcome aboard, Chris. It's great to have a new person from out your way...and a serviceman to boot. First, thanks for what you do and what you've done. We all appreciate it more than words can express. Second, get in and get active.

Instead of googling SFG and reading up on things, and/or asking us all the questions, may I suggest another order of events? One that will more effectively spread the word/concept many of us find so fascinating? Grab a copy of the book at the top of the page. Read it and if you fall into the concept like some of us have, take it with you and help Mel spread the word of SFG on future deployments.

I don't know where that suggestion may go. Maybe nowhere. But, it's worth a try to put that bug in your ear since it's Mel's mission.

As for the forum, it's a perfect compliment to the book. The book explains things much clearer than many of us can. However, follow up questions are bound to arise. That's where we come in. We should be your second educator, not your first.

But, don't let that stop you from getting involved here. So many regional discussions, and so many specific questions that members come up with. Reading, and participating, will help your growth curve lessen in a speedier fashion.

We love pictures. In fact, I think I would take pictures of places around the world my copy of the book has been and post them here....just for fun. But, that's just me.
